Our Story

Our parent company, Florist One, has been delivering funeral flowers across the United States and Canada since 1999. Through that experience, we saw website providers charging funeral homes thousands of dollars a year—while taking most or all of their flower sales.

We knew there had to be a better system. So we listened to funeral homes and built Obituary Assistant for their needs.

We launched Obituary Assistant in 2014 to give funeral homes a simple way to take control of their website, publish obituaries, and earn money.

Today, we’re proud to work with hundreds of funeral homes across North America and beyond. We continue to listen, learn, and improve Obituary Assistant.
