Thomas Earl White, age 56, of the city of Indianapolis, passed from time unto eternity, November 16, 2023. He was born September 21, 1967, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Herbert Hester, Sr. and Willa Mae White. Thomas Earl attended elementary, middle school and high school in the city of Indianapolis. He worked
as a laborer, and in retail. Thomas held an amazing, deep love for his family, a commitment to protect, encourage, and empower his family to be our best. He many times liked to joke, never a complainer, and compassionate; Thomas was always a joy to be with. He brought the holiday spirit into the room, no matter what the season. Thomas Earl White was a soldier in his own right. He fought many battles, quietly and with grace. He was loved immensely by his family, he always made it his business to call,
or visit to remind his family how special and appreciative we were to him. Thomas is preceded in death by his father, Herbert Hester, Sr.; his mom, Willa Mae White; grandmother, Erma Washington; brothers, Herbert, Robert, and Walter Hester; sisters Elizabeth Tipton and Martha Mae Hester; sister-in-love, Peggy Dean Hester; aunts, Peggy McGowan, Clarice Miller, Uncle Virgil Wynn; he is also
preceded in death by his nephews and nieces. Thomas is survived by his sisters, Norma Wilburn, Sallie Hester, and his brothers Nathaniel Hester, and Alvin Wayne Hester, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, and
nephews. Thomas Earl White professed his faith in Christ Jesus, receiving Him as Lord and Savior at a young age, at Second Christian, now, Light of the World Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. Just a few months before his passing, he called two of his nieces, allowing the LORD to prepare his soul for exiting a world not good enough to hold him, and on the day, he heard the trumpet call of God beckoning
his soul's rest, he responded.
