Obituary For SHAUN KRISTOPHER KIMBROUGH

Shaun Kristopher Kimbrough, affectionately known as “Shaun P,” was born on September 25, 1989, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and moved to Gary, Indiana at a young age. He was the first son born to Kathleen Pondo and Cress Kimbrough. Shaun played little league baseball as a little boy and loved the game. He had a heart of gold and smile that would light up your day. Shaun was very intelligent and had a way with words. He was known and loved by all those who crossed paths with him during his time on this earth. He loved music, baseball, basketball, and most of all his children and family. He didn’t take for granted the time he was able to spend with loved ones and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Cress H. Kimbrough; maternal grandparents, Walter and Irene Pondo; paternal grandparents, Robert and Terri Kimbrough; and nephew, Antoine Lynch, Jr. Shaun gained his wings on November 27, 2021, at the young age of 32 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He leaves to cherish his memory: three children, Aniyah Martin, Zakeryah Martin, and Montrell Martin; his mother, Kathleen Pondo, all of Indianapolis, Indiana; two brothers, Cress Kimbrough II of Avon, Indiana and Kristopher Kimbrough of Indianapolis, Indiana; four sisters, Tiffany Garland of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Nakia Kimbrough of Indianapolis, Brande Jiles, and RaeDawn Kimbrough, both of Avon, Indiana; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends.
