LIFE REFLECTIONS
Willie Dee Giden was born on April 28, 1943, to Buster and Julia Giden. Willie was a US Navy veteran and retired from International Harvester at the early age of 50 years old. He was known for his jokes, strength and never meeting a stranger.
Willie Dee was a devoted father, husband and friend who was filled with enthusiasm for life, great food and card playing around a table of family and friends. He had a zest for life that is unmatched. Willie was a comedian in his own right and you always knew where you stood with him. He spoke his mind whether you liked it or not and always had great wisdom and words of encouragement even if it was calling you a “dumb ass”. His laughter was contagious. He had a remarkable way of brightening even the darkest days.
Willie leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 57 years, Jacquiline Giden; their children Damon Giden (Tammy) and Deanna Giden (William) and grandchildren Chris, Norman, Brandon, Da’Andrea, Desiree, DJ, Ashlee, Dalyn, Shavion, Chris G; and survived by his brother, Latham Giden. Loved ones who were proceeded in death, his parents Buster and Julia Giden, his brother Joe Louis and grandchildren Justin Sr and Dasia. He was also loved by a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
