Ms. Mary Evelyn Patterson, 85, peacefully entered rest on Monday, July 14, 2025. Ms.Patterson was the daughter of Mrs. Arrie Lee Patterson Gist and the late Mr. Tillman Patterson, Sr.

Ms. Patterson is remembered for her dedication to God and her love of and care for her family and others.

She is survived by her two sisters, Roberta P. Miller and Joyce M. Patterson of Washington, D.C.; niece, Linda Greenwood of Whitsett, N.C.; and nephew, Kirk Greenwood of Chattanooga, Tenn.

Evelyn Patterson will be held 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 18, 2025, at Lincoln Memorial Gardens, Spartanburg, SC. The Reverend Ron Henderson will officiate.
