Ms. Shaquita S. McCulloh, a resident of Lanett, AL, died Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at EAMC-Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley, AL.

Graveside Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. (EST) on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Valley, AL with Rev. Corey Huguley, Pastor/Eulogist and Rev. Frankie Hutchinson, Sr., Officiant. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley directing.

Public Viewing is scheduled for Monday, March 20, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel.

Shaquita Sandreka McCullough was born June 28, 1987 to Kimberly Diane McCulloh and Tyrone Edward Houston in Lee County, Alabama. She departed this life on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at EAMC-Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley, Alabama.

Shaquita was so full of life. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and became a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in the Beulah Community of Valley. Shaquita or “Quita Byrd” as some called her, was the oldest of three. She enjoyed her family and friends—especially her nephew whom she affectionately called “Wank Wank” (Christian).

She was preceded in death by: her father, Tyrone E. Houston; great- grandfather, Mark McCulloh; great-grandmother, Ruby McCulloh; and brother-in-love, Charlie Brock, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughters, Zariyah Iyonna McCulloh and Kymarii Terionna McCulloh both of Lanett, AL; her loving mother, Kimberly McCulloh, Lanett, AL; her sisters, Ronshenicqua Lloyd, Valley, AL and Terynesea Brock, Lanett, AL; grandfather, Ronnie (Evelyn) McCulloh, Lanett, AL; grandmother, Diane Floyd McCulloh, Valley, AL; great-grandmother, Effie Floyd, Valley, AL; aunts, Colandra St. George, Valley, AL, Sha Tina McCulloh, Auburn, AL and Cassandra Houston, Opelika, AL; a special great-uncle, Rev. Dr. George (Vivian) McCulloh, Valley, AL; nephews, Martavious Ridgeway, Markius Ridgeway and Christian Brock; nieces, Amariyah Harris, Jourdyn Harris and Carmen Brock; a host of other great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, other relatives, friends and special friends, Merissa Ransom, Sandral Woody, Monchel McCants, Riley Clark-Oiler, Jasmin Finley, Carlee Smith, and Ron Morgan. Her smile, laughter, and all around beautiful spirit will be greatly missed by us all
