Earl Anthony Davis “Earl The Pearl” was born May 10, 1960 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Richard and Flora Ella Davis. Earl believed in the power of prayer. He professed his hope in Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Reverend Cheffins of Community Baptist Church. Earl graduated from Shortridge High School where he not only enjoyed watching basketball but he was also a pro at playing and coaching the sport. Earl was known as a sharp shooter. Earl was employed at “All Star Bowl” for over 25 years. Earl LOVED to barbecue. He was known as the “Grill Master” and loved to hear his family say “this is the best barbecue we’ve ever had!” and it was. Earl the Pearl loved family gatherings and loved to party in the basement with his “club members”. We will continue to keep his memory alive by bumping old school music and doing the “Earl Flynn”. Earl departed this life on Saturday March 26, 2022. He was 61 years old. He was preceded in death by Annette Warner (sister) and Jeffrey Grigley (nephew) Earl leaves to cherish his memories his brother and best friend Keith Davis, (Denise.
