Tandés Antonio Hailey “Tony”, 45, of Ridgeway, VA passed February 22,2022. A public viewing will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Perry Spencer Funeral Home, Madison, NC from 1:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at Cross Pointe Church, 3951 Greensboro Rd. Ridgeway, VA 24148 with burial following at the Hailey Family Cemetery, Ridgeway, VA.

Tandés “Tony” Antonio Hailey was born on October 4, 1976, in Martinsville, VA, son of Paulette Hairston Hailey and the late Henry Vincent Hailey. Tandés peacefully went on to receive his crown of glory and Residence in Heaven, February 22, 2022, in Charlottesville, VA, with his wife and children by his side.

He was the beloved husband of Tameka Gravely Hailey. He is survived by one son, Devanté Antonio Hailey, two daughters, Candés Lynette Hailey and Tamera Dehné Hailey, all of Ridgeway, VA, and one Goddaughter, Alivia Adzonia Penn, of Martinsville, VA. Tandés always cherished his wife, children, family and friends. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with them and knowing they were healthy, safe and happy. He never met a stranger, and he was always willing to help anyone in need.

He graduated from Magna Vista High School. Tandés received his background in Information Technology Education at ECPI and pursued further studies for a bachelor’s degree at Old Dominion University. He received many computer related credentials and certifications throughout his entire working life. Tandés was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Fieldale, VA. He confessed his life to Christ at an early age. He loved traveling, cars (especially his Nova), motorcycles and playing cornhole. He will be remembered by his values and lessons of hard work, honesty, integrity, and an ability to face adversity and challenges with calm, stoic bravery. He always strived for achievement in both his professional and personal life. He had a passion for sports. He was athletic and enjoyed weightlifting, baseball, basketball, and football.

He was also predeceased by an infant child from this union and an infant Godson, JaQurion Hairston

Tandés is also survived by a sister, Ebony JaAndra Hailey of Martinsville, VA, a God sister, Kiara Cymone Baldwin, of Charlotte, NC and a Special Sister, Melinda Day Pritchett. He was also blessed with nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, many other relatives, and friends.
