OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, 1606 W. College Ave., Opelousas, LA for Mr. Carl Guillory, Sr., 54, who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Park in the Bellevue Community.

Rev. Brian Keith Alfred, Pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Guillory’s memories are being cherished by: his father, Lawrence Guillory of Opelousas, LA; two sons, Carl L. Guillory, Jr. and Rondale Hunt, both of Opelousas, LA; four daughters, Latosha G. Maupin and Brittany Guillory, both of Houston, TX, Alexis Guillory of Opelousas, LA and Ashley Mayo of Opelousas, LA; three brothers, Michael Garrett of Sunset, LA, Darrell Brown of Iowa Park, TX and Sidney Brown of Eunice, LA; two sisters, Iva Guillory and Evelyn Gordon, both of Houston, TX; thirteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his mother, Gertie Mae Guillory; one brother, Frank Bryan, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Martin and Octavia Simmons; and paternal grandparents, Earnest and Alice Guillory.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Community Chapel.
