Delise Michelle Tipton

05/26/1966 - 03/09/2021

Lisa's Story Mama, Lisa, Aunt Wesa, Ainee, Ainty, Sistah-Girl, Sister-Cousin, God-Mommy, Mommy #2, Lady, Pretty, Prissy and Classy--yep, that's OUR beloved Delise Michelle Tipton. And that smile, beautiful smile that warmed your heart, made you feel welcome, and graced any room she entered. Yep, that was Lisa. Lisa would want you to know that you are loved, that life is truly short and not to spend your time and energy on people nor things that don't put you in a good place/mood, to move on from the negative. She gave this round of cancer all she had, and she neared the finish line of her bright, shiny life, she said to a few of us, "I'm not afraid." ONLY peace with God/Jesus Christ can make you not afraid of the LIFE hereafter. As you celebrate your love for Lisa, she would want you to remember that she loved you--too. She worked at Eli Lilly & Company, Dow Agro Sciences, The Department of Education, and Sam's Club/Walmart Hair Salon. Before her illness prevented her from further pursing her dreams, she was working on owning a holistic company, a place to educate people about and provide organic supplements/healthier living--DESPITE her ailments. She gave the BEST massages. When she hugged you, you knew you were going to be okay. That's the kind of person Lisa was.
