VICTOR DORSEY JR, was born to the late Victor Dorsey Sr. and the late Lela Mae Graham Dorsey, on September 14, 1955 in Indianapolis Indiana. “VIC” as he was known by everyone was educated in the Indianapolis Public School System where he attended School #26 and Arsenal Technical High School where he received his high school diploma. He went on to enlist in the United Stated Army where he served our country from September 3, 1976 to November 27, 1978. He was later discharged with honors. VICTOR accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age, he was a faithful member of Eastern Star Church, where he would attend Sunday school and church services faithfully. VICTOR started his career at RCA for several years, he continued his career at Carmel High School, and then went on to work at St Rita’s Catholic School in transportation. He also worked for, Fort Harrison Finance Center. Later he received his Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and became a truck driver over the road with Warner trucking company. VICTOR and his late mother Lela Mae Dorsey became business partners and started Silver Cab and limousine service in 1998 servicing all of Indiana. VICTOR loved his family, He enjoyed family time especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. He loved the big family meals and would sit around eating (on his favorite plate), laughing, and watching sports. He was a faithful devotional books and Bible reader. He loved his cars, he loved riding around town in his Eldorado’s, and his Deuce. He loved giving advice to others on eating healthy and living a better life. VICTOR departed his early life on Saturday December 21, 2020 at the age of 65 years 3 months, and 7 days. He was preceded in death by his father Victor Dorsey Sr.; mother Lela Mae Dorsey; brother, James Chatman; sisters, Lucy Dorsey, Victoria Dorsey Wright and Christenia Dorsey; nephews, Kevin Chatman, John Chatman; cousins Mary Graham, Geraldine Graham; great-niece Osdessy Sanford, Great nephew James Chatman III. Remembering Victor VICTOR leaves to cherish his loving memories to his daughters, Andrea Dorsey, Latasha Dorsey; sons, Victor Cousins, Ramon Cousins (Wyvette), Byron Dorsey, Lucious Montgomery; grandkids; De’Ron Street, Devin Sims (DaVanna); Lucious Montgomery II, Sasha Dorsey, Christian Dorsey, Marcellis Dorsey, Shian Dorsey, Justine Dorsey, Ma’Liyah Montgomery; great-grandkids; Harmoni Street, Laila Street, Jordan Sims, Jaden Sims, Justice Sims, Ella Rose Montgomery; nieces, Michelle Chatman, Antoinette Wright, Crystal Chatman nephews, Herbert Chatman (Nicole), Richard Wright, James Chatman (Christie) Charles Wright, Michael Chatman, Brian Chatman; uncle, Clifford Graham Sr; Bonus Son Tellis Easley, and a host of cousins great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
