Rodney D. Williams peacefully passed away at his home in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Sunday, September 27, 2020. Rodney attended IPS 32 and Arsenal Technical High School. He worked many years for American Tent. He was known as a sharp dresser, loved to dance, and was a people person who never met a stranger. Rodney, affectionately known as “Dee Dee,” and “Dirty Red,” by family and friends, was born on June 1, 1959. Rodney was preceded in death by his mother, Celestine “Tina”; and his brother, Michael “Duke” Williams. He is survived by: his loving wife of 13 years, Marsha Webster Williams; his daughters, Tasha Jones, Patience Duckworth, Nicole (Michael) Smith, and DeAnn Webster; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Demonte, John, Jacob, Elijah, and Micah; father, George (Evelyn) Hughes; siblings, Janice, and Phyllis Williams, Wanda Tate, Teresa Cullens, Calvin (Marcella), and Timothy, and LaSandra Hughes; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
