David Lloyd Wimberly, Jr., or “Dada,” was born August 5, 1981, to Norma Ann Dearman Hodge and David Lloyd Wimberly, Sr.

David graduated from Lawrence Central High School in 1999 with honors. David continued his education, receiving his associates in science from Ivy Tech College. He received his carpentry apprenticeship license, followed by CDLs, with which he enjoyed working daily for Marathon Oil Corporation. David’s favorite hobby was working hard and providing for his family. David was a charming, handsome man with a huge heart and a bright beautiful smile. David loved to watch movies, eat popcorn, and spend time with his family. He was very organized, well groomed, and kept a clean ride. David had a bubbly personality with a warm, giving heart.

David was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Ann Dearman; and grandfather, Nathan Wimberly. David leaves to cherish: his children, Dasha Keshay Wimberly, Stacia Monique Wimberly, and David Lloyd Wimberly III; granddaughter, Dailee Ann Rose Wimberly; finace, Stacy Na (Keisha) Radford; parents, David Lloyd (Mechelle) Wimberly, Sr., and Norma (EJ) Dearman Hodge; brothers, Andre Wimberly and Marcus Hodge; sisters. Monique WImberly, Dawn Wimberly, and Paige Wimbery; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephew, and cousins.
