Kevin Prince, age 60, most beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, family member and friend passed suddenly on Monday, February 3, 2020. Those who knew Kevin , even just a little while, lost a shining light in their lives. He was the son of the late Lorraine Prince and Ed Gordon of Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to being a dedicated and loving husband and father, Kevin enjoyed cooking for his family and friends and always made sure everyone ate heartily while visiting his home. He retired from Delta Air Lines in 2009 after many years of service, when he chose early retirement to care for his wife Sheryl who suffered a medical event and required round-the-clock attention. Kevin Prince was actively involved i n the Men's Ministry and served with the Media Ministry at h is be l oved Ray of Hope Christian Church. Kevin had a long-standing relationship with God and was very blessed with his faith to his last breath. This gentle, loving, caring and wonderful man has left a permanent mark etched on our hearts and will be supremely missed by his wife and best friend, Sheryl Prince of Ellenwood, GA; sons, Kevin Prince of Hilton Head, SC and Christopher Prince of Savannah, GA; daughter, Sherita Davis, Ellenwood GA; Brothers, Derek Prince, Jeffrey Prince, and Perry Prince, of Cincinnati, Ohio. Kevin was a proud grandfather and affectionately known as "Poppy" to several grandchildren. He was a dear brother­ in-law to Earnestine, J a mes, Linda (Tommy), and Alvin (Sandra). Kevin Prince will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and good friends.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020 10:00 am at Ray of Hope Christian Church 2778 Snapfinger Road Decatur, GA 30034. Visitation will be held Friday, February 14, 2020 from 2pm-6pm at Grissom -Clark Funeral Home. www.grissom-clarkfh.com
