My condolences. I went to public school at Elgin Court & Homedale with Gary. Meeting up with him and his family camping at Bee-Lin trailer park in Port Bruce was great. Fond memories.

I met Gary in 1990. He was my first contact after I received my amateur radio ticket. I was fortunate to be able to converse with Gary either on the "air" or in person from time to time. I enjoyed knowing Gary and will miss his wit and personality on the air. Godspeed Gary. 73 Paul Wallace, VE3SRI

Gary was always ready to help with any issue, that was brought forward, I first meet him at the industry Canada examination center in London. We both had the amateur radio exam the same day. I'll never forget it , because he was asking questions about the laws on the operators permits , that the examiner couldn't answer.. I will miss his conversations.

I never met Gary in person or even knew what he looked like but did speak with him a little bit a couple times on the radio. I enjoyed listening to him on amateur radio as well and always thought he seemed like a great person. Although I never knew him, nor ever met him, I will still miss hearing him on the radio. You always knew that something interesting would be going on when you heard "VA3HP" Condolences to all that knew him.

I met Gary only a few years ago. We shared many great conversations on the air and in person. Gary shared a passion of radio since he was a small child to the day he passed. He had a heart of gold and always was there to help in any way he could. It breaks my heart to know he left this world far too soon. His memory will be remembered always among the many many friends he had in the ham radio community. Gary, we will miss you more than our words can say. I will remember you always my friend. Rest in peace my friend. Mike VE3MMX

Gary was well known in the amateur radio community. He would often be heard involved in heated discussions on the MMX repeater systems.Gary would stand his ground for what he believed in and would not back down to anyone on his beliefs. Many that new him in the amateur community had differing opinions of Gary's points of view. Those that truly knew him there isn't anything he wouldn't do for them.It is this group that will miss you the most my friend. As one member of our group said you were robbed of time.Life isn't fair but no this wherever you are the projects you were proud and happy to be a part of will live on every day by those of us still here and you will never be forgotten or talked about in our group.A final 73 my friend.
